Why Do We Worship?
The word worship comes from the words "worth" and "ship", so when we gather for worship, we're saying God is worthy and we're declaring our praises of Him.
He is worthy of our worship because He created us; He has a purpose for us; He provides for us; He loves us and even died for us.
And worship is our response. To love and honor Him; to serve Him and to live for Him.
Our Worship Gatherings
Because worship is a matter of our hearts, an expression of our faith, worship can be experienced and enjoyed by different people in different ways.
We offer the choice of traditional and contemporary styles of worship. Both are centered in Christian community and both provide an open, friendly place for you to worship.
Our 9:30am service offers a traditional blend of inspirational music and hymns, a sermon and scripture readings, an engaging children's message, and sharing of concerns and thanksgiving for prayer. It's been described as reverent and uplifting. Our new contemporary service at 11:00am blends inspirational contemporary music by a Praise Band and multimedia with the sermon message and scripture readings, sharing of concerns and thanksgiving and caring prayers. You'd call it vibrant, informal and casual.
At our 9:30 service, childcare is provided for infants through pre-school and all children, including visitors, are invited to participate in Sunday school.
