Youth Fellowship provides a safe, fun opportunity for Christian fellowship among youth in grades 6 – 12. The group supports friendship among our youth as they build relationships through Christ. Our goals are to have fun, to serve others in our wider community, and to grow in our faith and our relationship with Christ.
The group meets approximately three times a month and participates in fun activities such as rock climbing, movie nights, a Halloween party, and lock-in sleepovers, as well as service-oriented projects such as the food pantry scavenger hunt, annual Easter breakfast, and the Christmas Live Nativity.
The youth at UMCW are also very active in youth mission. One of the highlights of their year is the Summer Youth Mission Trip where they spend a week in and around Maine helping to improve the conditions for people living there by rehabilitating their homes.
Recently, we've had a lot of fun using our creativity to paint the Youth Room. It's awesome! We also just moved in a donated foosball table, so we're ready for action! We hope you come by and check it out.
