The Membership Care Team provides comfort and assists our members and their friends with spiritual, emotional or physical needs. Our goal is to bring God’s grace to each person we minister to; to celebrate with them the many blessings that God provides; and to affirm our fellowship and love for each other through our words, actions, and continuing care.
Caring for each other connects us as a Christian community and strengthens our church family. Providing a support system for every member of our church family is a way of showing God’s love. We want every person in our church community to know there is someone there for them through life’s journies.
We're also happy to support others in our surrounding communities as we're able with our current resources. If we're unable to assist in any way, we'll do our best to refer you to other resources in the community.
The following are some of the ways we assist others:
Prayer:
We pray for each other, our church, communities, and the world, celebrating God’s many blessings through prayer and lifting up the concerns of our hearts to God. If you or someone you know needs our prayers, please complete our confidential, online Prayer Request Form or send an email to our Prayer Team Lead.
Meals:
We provide meals to those in need due to illness, loss of a loved one, or other life concerns. If you would like to request a meal or volunteer to make meals, please contact our Meals Coordinator.
Audio/Video:
Worship services are taped so they can be given to those who
are home-bound or had to miss worship for some reason.
Visitation:
We visit individual homes, hospitals and nursing homes and also contact people via cards and letters. If you would like to request a visitation for you or someone else, please contact our Visitations Coordinator.
Lamb Ministry:
Lambs are provided to members of our congregation or others who might need a visual reminder of Christ’s presence.
If you have questions about the Lamb Ministry, please contact our Lamb Ministry Coordinator.
Prayer Shawls:
Shawls are knitted and given to comfort those who are seriously ill or who have suffered the loss of a loved one. If you or someone you know would like to receive a prayer shawl, please contact our Prayer Shawls Coordinator.
One-to-One Stephen Ministry:
This is ministry to those who may need ongoing support by a trained, caring friend. To learn more, click here.
