It's said that "Prayer requires more of the heart than of the tongue". Well, UMCW definitely has the heart for prayer! We believe in its power and the practice of gratitude.
We pray for each other, our church and the world, celebrating God’s many blessings through prayer and lifting up the concerns of our hearts to Him.
In addition to each of us praying in the quiet of our hearts, you'll find we have a rich collective prayer time in our Sunday Worship Gatherings.
Prayer Team and Requests:
Our church has a group of about 30 Pray-ers who take time to lovingly and faithfully pray for everyone requesting prayer.
- If you or anyone you know is in need of prayer or would like to offer up your thanks through the prayers of others, you may submit a confidential request online. Click here for the Prayer Request Form. (You may also submit a request in church or by emailing the Prayer Team Lead.)
- Prayer requests are usually published in the Sunday bulletin, however, the Prayer Team welcomes private requests and those remain unpublished and confidential. (You will just specify your wishes on the Prayer Request Form.)
- If you are a member of UMCW and would like to join the Prayer Team, please contact the Prayer Team Lead.
