Children are a special gift from God, and our job as caretakers is to raise them in a loving, nurturing environment according to Christian principals. One way we do that is by teaching them about God, His gift to us of Jesus, and all the many stories and lessons in the Bible.
During the regular school year, Sunday School classes for pre-school through high school are offered during our 9:30am Traditional Service. Kids sit with their families for the first 10 minutes or so and leave for Sunday School after the "Message for the Young at Heart".
Sunday School takes place in our newer Education wing and is taught by caring adults using age-appropriate curriculum. Visiting kids are always welcome!
Sample Curriculum
Pre-school to 6th grade:
Rock Solid’s curriculum for preschool, three stages of elementary school and then Tween is designed to energize children with a variety of age-appropriate faith-building activities, fun dramas, engaging discussions, and more!
7th and 8th grade:
BL4Y (Bible Lessons for Youth) is meant to be engaging & relevant to teens. It applies the Bible to real-life issues that teens face in the secular world. It’s filled with modern cutting-edge graphics and thought-provoking activities.
High School:
LinC Newsletter (Living in Christ) challenges youth to think about their faith and beliefs in dealing with current issues that have immediate impact on youth culture today.
