Christ's Word and Example:
Jesus spoke those 15 simple words: "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve."
But they weren't just words. His actions, in fact his whole life, were quite the opposite of what we sometimes see in the world around us. He was a consistent example of humility.
Our Response:
Helping those in need is one of the pillars of Christian living. Whether locally, globally, or within our own membership, there is always someone in need of a helping hand. At UMCW, we seek out and serve those in need.
