How Do I Sign Up?

 VolunteerSpot - Doing Good Just Got Easier

What is VolunteerSpot?

  • A free web service we'll be testing to efficiently manage this ministry.

How Do I Use It?

  • Click on logo above & enter your email address. (Only used by VolunteerSpot to send you reminders as long as you opt-out from advertising at sign up! See red note below.)

  • You will then see a calendar & can scroll to month you'd like to sign up for. Click on clipboard icon on 3rd Monday.

  • You will see a list of all the food to be donated (with Picnic Basket icons) and then the volunteers needed to coordinate & serve (with People icons). Hit the big yellow "Sign Up" button if you'd like to volunteer.

  • You will get a little pop up window to provide name & phone number so we can contact you if any need. Be sure to uncheck the box "I want to receive special offers from VolunteerSpot sponsors."

  • You can then just follow the prompts on each screen:

    • Hit green "Save & Close" button on the sign up page. 

    • This will bring you back to our calendar where you can choose another date to volunteer for or hit the red "Confirm" button when done.

    • This will take you to a screen with "Thank You for Signing Up" message at top. 

    • If you use an online calendaring system and want to add the meal date to your calendar, hit green "Continue" button at bottom of screen and click on link to system you use.

Confirmations & Reminders:

  • Confirmation emails are sent about 5 minutes after you click done and a reminder email 2 days in advance.
